Photo 21 Jan 8 notes I made these lemon raspberry cake squares, and they are sooo delicious! Imagine lemon squares but a tinsy bit sweeter and with the texture of brownies. mmm. :D
Make them!: Miiix 1/2 cup of creme fraiche with 3/4 cup of brown sugar and the zest of 1 lemon and juice of 1/4 lemon. stir stir stir. Add 2 eggs, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, stir. Add 1/2 cup of milk, stir. Butter a 9’ pan, pour in mixture, bake 350 for 30 min. Meanwhile, dissolve 1/4 cup of sugar with the rest of the lemon juice, add raspberry (or whatever) jam. Take cake out of oven, pour lemon sugar mixture over cake. Bake for another 10 minutes. EAT!
